Head of Tech

We are building some of the UK’s most exciting food halls, bars and hospitality spaces. We are now looking for a Head of Tech to lead the next phase of our growth by building the data, systems and AI capability that helps us operate smarter, move faster, and create better outcomes for our food partners, bars and guests.

This is not a maintenance IT role. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can build the tech function of a modern hospitality platform.

You will lead the development of our internal data and reporting capability, help shape the future of our app and digital guest journey, and use AI and automation to turn operational data into better decisions across the business.

The role

You will own the tech road-map across the business, connecting commercial, operational and guest data into systems that are useful, practical and scalable.

You will work across leadership, operations, marketing, finance and site teams to create tools and insight that improve performance at site level and across the group.

A big part of the role is building dashboards, reporting and feedback loops that help our food partners and bar teams understand how they are performing, where opportunities exist, and how we can help them grow.

What you’ll be responsible for

Build and lead our technology, data and systems strategy

Create a joined-up data environment across EPOS, ordering, app, finance and operational systems

Develop dashboards and reporting tools for head office, site teams, food partners and bars

Use AI to improve reporting, forecasting, labour planning, stock insight, menu performance and guest behaviour analysis

Help shape and build our app roadmap, including how data is fed back to food partners and internal teams

Turn data into simple, commercial recommendations that improve revenue, margin and guest experience

Identify automation opportunities across operations, finance, reporting and admin

Manage third-party developers, agencies and system providers where needed

Ensure systems are robust, secure, scalable and fit for a fast-growth business

Build a lean but high-performing tech function over time

Leadership has real-time visibility on performance across the group

Food partners receive useful commercial insight, not just raw data

Bar teams can track sales, product performance, labour and margin more effectively

Our app becomes a stronger trading, loyalty and guest data platform

AI is used in practical ways that improve speed, consistency and decision-making

Tech becomes a genuine growth driver for the business, not just a support function

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in a senior tech, data or digital product role

Experience building data infrastructure, dashboards and reporting tools in a multi-site business

Strong understanding of AI, automation and practical use cases in real operating environments

Able to move between strategy and hands-on delivery

Commercially minded, with the ability to translate data into action

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience with hospitality, retail, consumer or marketplace-style businesses would be a major advantage

Comfortable in a high-growth environment where pace matters
